Hi, I'm Your Mahjong Guide
I grew up playing a one-of-a-kind version of Mahjong my family created. It was part game, part tradition—and it taught me early on that Mahjong is really about connection: gathering together, learning the rhythms of play, and laughing through every hand.
In the last few years, my sister introduced me to American Mahjong, and I fell in love with the game all over again—the strategy, the pace, the excitement of the card, and the way a table of players quickly becomes a community. Before long, I was studying the game, practicing constantly, and sharing it with anyone who wanted to learn.
These days I've turned my husband and daughter into avid players, and I organize a regular neighborhood game with friends here in Steiner. With a background as a former elementary teacher and current substitute teacher in Steiner, I bring a patient, encouraging approach to every lesson—so you can learn with confidence and actually enjoy the process.

Steiner Ranch has been my home for years, and I've fallen in love with this community. The beautiful Hill Country setting, the friendly neighbors, and the strong sense of community make it the perfect place to share my passion for Mahjong.
I've seen firsthand how Mahjong brings our neighbors together. What starts as a lesson often turns into a lasting friendship and a weekly tradition. There's something special about gathering around a table with neighbors, sharing laughs, and enjoying the click of tiles.
While I'm based in Steiner Ranch, I happily serve River Place, Lakeway, Four Points, and the surrounding Austin area. Great Mahjong knows no boundaries!
